TREATMENT OPTIONS:
Menopause is a natural stage of the human body. Its treatment focuses on relieving the patients of the discomfort caused by the symptoms of menopause. Depending on the patient’s symptoms, doctors may prescribe treating the woman with systemic hormone therapy or vaginal estrogen treatment. Such treatments cure vaginal dryness, discomfort with intercourse, and other urinary symptoms. For improving vaginal and urinary symptoms in menopausal patients, vaginal radiofrequency/laser is used. A healthy diet and exercise are important too.
